Simple and Easy Play Dough

Here is a great recipe, very easy and versatile : simply add food coloring and glitter to spark it up !

4 cups of flour
1 cup of salt
4 cups of water
4 tbs of oil
1/2 cup of cream of tartar

Mix all the ingredients in a pan. Cook and stir over a low/medium heat till completely formed an NOT sticky.

Enjoy.

(keep in an airtight container)

Hi Julie,
I want to try this recipe soon but would just like to know if this play dough hardens if left out. I'm helping underprivileged kids with an art project where they will be making flower pots. So I will need a recipe which enables the dough to harden/set.
